``IE'' is a multipurpose space in Sapporo.

A house built over 50 years ago was renovated, and a 1st floor space with a gallery and minibar opened in January 2021, and a library, apparel room, and multipurpose room were completed on the 2nd floor at the end of March 2021.

The first issue of ie zine, #000 ``new beginning,'' which is published irregularly in conjunction with ie as a place, invites contributors from Sapporo, Tokyo, Osaka, and Berlin to the magazine, and incorporates their new beginnings into one volume.

Inspired by scrapbooks, each ie zine is pouched, bound and packaged by hand.
