Sheila Locke was born in the United States. Afterwards, he moved to London and contributed many photographs to creative magazines such as The FACE magazine. The photos of Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren's boutique ``SEX'' defined the image of punk. Currently, he is active in a variety of subjects and styles, including not only portraiture, but also scenery and botanical photography. Punk +, a document of punk from 1976-1980, was released in 2013. In 2022, a photo book with a 1980's theme is scheduled to be published this fall.
